Our English as a Second Language program provides English comprehensive skill classes including listening, speaking, reading, writing, and grammar for students and professionals alike. Depending on the ACCUPLACER® placement test score, students are then placed into a class that fits their readiness level.
The purposes behind these programs are to help develop our students english skills, and consequently help achieve their higher education goals or career opportunities in the future.
Pursuant to 8 VAC 40-31-60(A)(7) of the Virginia Administrative Code, the English as a Foreign Language (EFL) and Modern Standard Arabic (MSA) courses proposed by International Student Success Center LLC, are exempt from the certification requirements of the State Council of Higher Education for Virginia (SCHEV), as these are avocational courses conducted solely for personal development or information and do not lead directly to employment.

Located in the heart of the Washington, DC area, our program incorporates class field trips to a number of historically, politically, culturally significant places located in our back yard, the nations capital. These field trips provide a fun and real life opportunity to enjoy American culture and apply their english.
